This website is a portfolio for Angela Jurgensen, B.F.A., B.Ed., Grad.Dip., MEd(L).
It displays her perspective on the integration of arts and technology to all subjects as a means to increase understanding and engagement in schools.
Angela has experience teaching all grade levels, but had her specialty and practicum in High School. She is certified to teach K to 12, but specifically the following:
A digital artist with over 20 years of experience, Angela has taught coding, 3D sculpting and printing projects, Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign, as well as web design, film and animation.
Angela has experience with all kinds of art, big and small; she loves ceramics and clay as much as computer arts, and has completed five mural projects with students so far.
She is fair and expects a lot from her students. She believes everyone can excel with the right inspiration and that inspiring creativity is the most important thing we can do to make the world a better place. Helping students discover and nurture their sparks and passions has become a career goal for Angela -- something she calls "passion for passion". She develops connections easily with students and makes them feel like they are special, and they matter -- because they are, and they do!!!
Her hobbies include creating whimsical art, playing violin, dancing, singing, writing, reading, cooking and sewing.
